ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister, Rehman Malik left here on Monday for Tehran on an official visit to Iran to discuss ways and means to further enhance Pak-Iran friendship.
During the visit, the Interior Minister will hold a meeting with Iranian counterpart and deliberate upon the measures to check human trafficking and smuggling on Pak-Iran border.
He will also sign an agreement pertaining to security issues with the Iranian authorities. The agreement has already been approved by the federal cabinet.
Both the sides will also adopt a common strategy to minimize security violations on Pak-Iran border.
Besides courtesy call on Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Interior Minister will discuss measures with the Iranian authorities to strengthen trade and business between the two countries.
