Tehran, March 26, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani returned from his two-day visit to Pakistan minutes ago.
President Rouhani was welcomed by First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri and Supreme Leader's Top Aide Ali Akbar Velayati as well as a number of other cabinet members.
A strategic document on five-year Iran-Pakistan trade cooperation and five memoranda of understanding (MoUs) in political, economic and cultural fields was signed between Tehran and Islamabad during President Rouhani's visit to Islamabad.
President Rouhani met his Pakistani counterpart Mamnoun Hussein, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Sartaj Aziz and army commander.
The Iranian president also delivered speech for businessmen and representatives of the two countries' private sectors and the Pakistani political elite and ulemmas.
