TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran’s shipping line to Europe cut for the last 7 years has resumed again, said Managing Director of Iran’s Shipping Line Mohammad Saeedi.
Shipping lines to Europe which was cut over last 7 years has been resumed and Homburg, Antwerp in Belgium and Genoa in Italy has been established permanently.
He said 10 percent of Iranian shipping line crew are foreigners who are going to be replaced by Iranian specialized human resources by next 6 years.
He also said insurance-related problems of Iranian vessels have been settled after the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), adding another line has been revived from Persian Gulf to Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay.
He said Iran’s exports and imports to and from Latin America would be done easier and cheaper with these lines.
