TEHRAN, May 08 (MNA) – It is originally entitled ‘Bazaar from Tehran to Tehran,’ a documentary by Reza Khanlari and a product of Documentary and Experimental Film Center (DEFC).
Beginning from May 9, the documentary will be screened in Archaeology Channel International Film and Video Festival held May 9-12, 2016, in Eugene, Oregon in the US. It will also compete with 20 documentaries from US, Spain, Peru, Germany, Britain, etc. for the trophy.
A second screening of the film will be in the 3rd Iranian Film Festival, May 26-29 in German city of Cologne. The festival also will screen a second Iranian documentary by Mehrdad Oskuei, ‘Starless Dreams.’
Shot in 42 minutes, ‘From Tehran to Tehran’ is an exploration of the fingerprints of European expeditions to delve deep into Tehran Bazaar. The narrative accompanies juxtaposition of old and new images of Tehran’s internationally renowned bazaar.
