Tehran, May 11, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Wednesday encouraged the United Nations programs for university students and instructors on terms of specific deal.
Zarif made the remarks in a meeting with the new Director of United Nations Information Centre in Tehran Maria Dotsenko.
Setting up exhibitions to get acquaintance and publicity about the activities of the United Nations and the views proposed by the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Campaign against Violence, Extremism and terrorism which was passed by the UN General Assembly are part of the UN functions, he said.
The new director of United Nations Information Centre commended the positive impacts of implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) broadening of cooperation between Iran and the UN.
'We hope in the new era, level of cooperation between the UN and scientific and academic institutes to further bolstered and broadened,' she said.
UN is ready to hold exhibitions to display photos, legal documents and historical events in order to broaden international cooperation with Iran, Dotsenko said.
