TEHRAN, Jun. 01 (MNA) – Minister of Energy will depart for Denmark to seek country’s technological capabilities in helping Iran’s water and renewable energy projects.
Mr. Danny Annan, Danish Ambassador to Tehran revealed the story in meeting with Hamid Chitchian’s adviser and his plenipotentiary to attract investments for Iran’s energy projects Mr. Gholamreza Manouchehri on Wednesday evening.
Both sides agreed that Danish side submits a draft of its proposals within 3 weeks to Energy Ministry for further consideration and due action. Mr. Annan is also Danish official to coordinate Mr. Chitchian’s visit to the country where he proposed that an MoU be signed with Danish authorities on water and wastewater sector. Tehran will also host a conference with both country’s stakeholders in water and energy industries to create a ground for bilateral interaction. “Denmark has minimized wasting of water in household utilities; I invite Iranian companies to travel Denmark for visiting our capabilities in water and wastewater management,” he added.
Mr. Manouchehri for his part said that Mr. Chitchian’s visit awaited Foreign Ministry coordination. Other sessions with Danish experts will be held by Ministry’s Water and Wastewater Department with director-general of the water and wastewater standards attending.
