TEHRAN, Jun. 18 (MNA) � Iran�s Hassan Rouhani has told Nawaz Sharif of Pakistan both nations in the region have common interests and will improve mutual ties.


President Rouhani was speaking to Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan�s Prime Minister over a phone call on Saturday evening to sympathize with him for his recovering from a surgery operation; �Pakistan is a friend and a neighbor with which Iran has common interests in the region; Tehran-Islamabad relations have ever been strengthened thank to Your Excellency�s highly sage policies and statecraft,� Mr. Rouhani praised the recovering prime minister.

Nawaz Sharif for his part reaffirmed that Pakistan would stand with Iran in international community and welcomed broader bilateral relations; �for us, Iran is a second home and Islamabad welcomes extending relations with Tehran in all fields of bilateral interest,� he concluded the phone call.
