Ankara, July 16, IRNA – Iran’s Consul General in Istanbul Mohsen Mortezayeefar said that the Iranian airlines have resumed their flights between Tehran and Istanbul.


“The flights of Qeshm Air, Mahan Air and other Iranian airlines from Istanbul airport to Tehran have been resumed.

He said that empty airplanes travelled from Tehran to Istanbul to take the Iranian passengers back to Iran.

The Turkish airports in Istanbul and Ankara were closed since Friday night due to the coup attempt in that country.
