Tehran, Aug 4, IRNA – Deputy head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Aliasghar Zareian said on Thursday that the country's various activities in the field of peaceful nuclear industry will never stop.
Touching upon the implementation of the landmark nuclear deal with the P5+1, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the official added the deal has prepared the ground for the AEOI to 'increase its international interactions and cooperation with the global organization and other countries in a purposeful and planned way.'
Based on the JCPOA, Zareian said, 'Iran has succeeded to maintain the complete cycle of nuclear fuel from exploration to the end of the process and would continue it in the JCPOA framework in the future.'
'In recent years, the industrial nuclear activities have played a pivotal role in implementing the infrastructural industries countrywide and fostered the national pride,' he said.
'We are seeking to employ the JCPOA opportunities and standardize and improve the quality of nuclear products with the help of other countries technologies,' the official added.
Pointing to the issue of cyber threats, he said the AEOI has recently succeeded to implement several security plans aimed at preventing any possible cyber attacks.
He added in conclusion that several new nuclear projects would be implemented by the end of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 20, 2016).
