Tehran, Aug 19, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani in a message congratulated bronze medal winner of Rio Olympics Taekwondo competition Miss Kimia Alizadeh.


'My daughter, Kimia, you made all Iranians, especially women of your nation this happy, I wish everlasting happiness for you.'

The president wrote the message on his twitter page.

Kimia Alizadeh, Iranian Taekwondoka weight -57 grabbed bronze medal of Rio 2016 Olympics on Friday morning.

She is the first Iranian woman in the history winning the Olympics medal.
