Iran deplores terrorist blast in family wedding in Turkey

Tehran, Aug 21, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi on Sunday deplored deaths of ordinary people in a family wedding in Turkey by terrorist attack in the city of Gaziantep, Turkey, and expressed condolence to the Turkish government and nation on the tragedy.

Qassemi said that such terrorist acts in a wedding ceremony and massacring defenseless and civilian people displayed evidently the ominous, inhuman and wicked goals of Takfiri terrorism and showed that how the dangerous and ominous phenomenon is threatening world community.

He said that such extremist moves targeting peace and stability of the regional countries need the firm and serious confrontation of all countries of the region.

In a suicide bombing in the city of Gaziantep, Turkey, early morning Sunday, 50 people died and 94 others were injured in a family wedding.
