The relaunch of ceasefire in Syria is expected to dominate the discussion agenda at an international meeting on Syria in Switzerland on October 15, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said Friday.
LAUSANNE (Switzerland), (Sputnik) — Bogdanov also said Moscow backed participation of Iran, Iraq and Egypt in the Lausanne talks on Saturday as the Syrian conflict resolution requires "involvement of countries that have direct influence on conflicting sides in Syria." "It will certainly be on agenda of discussions," Bogdanov told reporters ahead of the meeting, adding that Moscow was expecting Washington to fulfill its commitments under Russia-US brokered ceasefire agreements.
