Tehran, Oct 23, IRNA – Special Aide to Majlis Speaker for international affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Sunday that Iran's policy is to develop and expand friendly cooperation with all countries, especially the Islamic and neighboring states.
He made the remarks in meeting with Palestinian Ambassador to Tehran Salah Zawawi.
Amir Abdollahian criticized creation of divide in the Muslim World about Palestine and said that the Islamic world should take common stance on the Palestinian issue, because it is the most important issue for the Muslims.
He said that the Zionist regime efforts to form relations with some Arab-Islamic countries will be harmful for the region and Tel Aviv is the rootcause of insecurity in the region.
Zawawi said that Iran is among the main supporters for the Palestinian resistance to Israeli occupation and that the rights of the Palestinian people.
He appreciated basic role of the Supreme Leader, government, Majlis and nation of Iran for support to the innocent people of Palestine.
He appealed to the Muslim World to strengthen solidarity in support of Palestine.
