Shana– A senior Iranian refining official says the country will start nationwide distribution of Euro-4 gasoil by late September 2017.
Abbas Kazemi, managing director of National Iranian Oil Products Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC), said on Saturday that plans are under way which, once operational, will supply all the country's need by Euro-4 gasoil by late 2017.
He said Iran has exported an average of 400,000 to 500,000 barrels/day of petroleum products in the first 8 months of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 20, adding exports are expected to cross 650,000 b/d in the next calendar year.
Kazemi also hoped that Iran's export of petroleum products will reach its climax next summer as a number of ports in the southern port cities of Bandar Abbas and Mahshahr will become operational by then.
