Shana – Deputy Minister of Petroleum for Engineering, Research and Technology Mohammad-Reza Moqaddam says Iranian companies are capable of producing oil well equipment, which can be exported to regional countries.

Moqaddam told Shana that for the time being, Iran is in a favorable status in design and production of well equipment.

He said construction of well equipment is the most important part for construction of oil equipment inside the country because the smallest error in construction of the equipment will pose big dangers to oil wells.

He noted that the well equipment manufacturing companies have been able to attract Iranian customers and also, if certain impediments on the way are lifted, their products will be undoubtedly worthy of exports to regional countries.
