IRNA – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani welcomed the Slovenian President Borut Pahor at the Saadabad Cultural and Historical Complex in Tehran.
Heading a high ranking politico-economic delegation, the Slovenian president arrived in Tehran on Monday afternoon and was welcomed by Energy Minister Hamid Chitchian at the airport.
Slovenian president is to confer with Iranian officials on ways to develop political and economic cooperation between the two countries.
Iranian and Slovenian entrepreneurs and traders are expected to explore ways of developing ties between the two countries in a meeting on Tuesday.
Iran and Slovenia are scheduled to sign three cooperation agreements on Tuesday in the presence of Slovenian President Borut Pahor.
