IRNA – 210 lawmakers released a statement on Tuesday and thanked the Army Ground Forces for holding a military drill dubbed as 'Prophet Mohammad-4'.

A member of the Iranian Parliament's Presiding Board, Ahmad Amirabadi read out the lawmakers statement in the Majlis (parliament) open session on Tuesday morning.

The Army Ground Forces' 'Prophet Mohammad-4' drill was held to promote the forces' combat preparations and to demonstrate the military power of Iranian Army, the statement said.

It noted that the military drill sent the message of peace and friendship to the regional states.

The Iranian people and their representatives in the parliament appreciate the efforts of Armed Forces for establishment of security in Iran's long borders, the statement added.

The three day 'Prophet Mohammad-4' military drill was held on Dec 11-14 in South East of Iran (Konarak-Iranshahr).
