Holding the 6th International Conference in Support of the Palestinian Intifada (uprising) in Tehran is a major step to prevent the issue of Palestine getting influenced by regional developments, the Iranian official said.
He further noted that organizing the newly-ended international conference amounted to underlining the need for unity among Muslim nations, paving the way for condemning the Zionist regime’s inhumane and illegitimate measures at the international scene and providing assistance to the Palestinian nation.
The 6th International Conference on Palestinian Intifada was held in Tehran on Feb 21-22 with the participation of 80 delegations from different world countries.
The Syrian ambassador in Tehran, expressed pleasure over the success of the Intifada conference, saying that statements of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on the issue of Palestine serves as a working plan for the Islamic Ummah (nation).
In his speech to the conference inaugural session, Ayatollah Khamenei said that he believed that the Palestinian Intifada would finally succeed to achieve its goal of complete liberation of Palestine.
Commenting on the Geneva talks for Syria, Adnan said that new round of Geneva talks on the Syrian crisis is assessed positive compared to the earlier talks.
He said that the only solution to Syrian crisis is to focus on fighting against terrorism.
