IRNA – Iranian and Azeri delegations here on Sunday signed two agreements on cooperation in the presence of the two countries’ presidents.

The agreements focus on bilateral relations in the areas of fighting against money laundering and fostering railroad cooperation.

Azeri President Ilham Aliyev heading a high-ranking delegation arrived in Tehran on Sunday morning.

President Rouhani welcomed his Azeri counterpart at the Saadabad Cultural Complex in north of Tehran.

Simultaneous with the trip of President Aliyev to Tehran, Astara-Astara railroad project will be test-launched.

The railroad project is to join Astara in Iran to Astara in Azerbaijan.
