MNA – The chair of the national security and foreign policy committee of Iran’s Parliament told the media that the Iranian lawmakers will pass a bill, after holidays, about terrorist activities of the US army and CIA.
“Considering the unfair treatment of the US, including the Congress and the Government of this country, against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the great nation of Iran, a new bill, coordinated from a while ago with some colleagues, will be proposed in the first formal session of the Parliament after the new year holidays,” said Alaeddin Boroujerdi, the Chairman of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, late on Saturday, after the passage of a new anti-Iran law in the US.
The senior legislator affirmed that, “as the US army has been involved in numerous crises in the region, including in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen, and bearing in mind the broad range of supports it provides to terrorist organizations, it has become a de facto supporter of terrorist groups who are killing the innocent people of the region to put into practice the secret operation of the US and US intelligence organizations in the region.”
“The Intelligence Organization of the US and the US Army are full-fledged state terrorist organizations.”
The Iranian MP highlighted that with the behavior of the Americans in the new era, ‘especially in terms of the JCPOA and reneging on it and also the passage of new anti-Iran sanctions’, the national security and foreign policy committee and the nuclear committee of Iran’s parliament will reach a new conclusion and will inform the nation about the decision after the holidays.
When asked about the bill, Boroujerdi reiterated that the draft is mainly based on the idea that the US Army and CIA are deeply involved in terrorist activities.
