IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif leaves Tehran for three Central Asian and Caucasian states on Sunday at the head of a political and economic delegation.
Foreign Ministry’s spokesman Bahram Qasemi told IRNA on Saturday night that Zarif will visi Turkmenistan, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan.
Over 20 businessmen and representatives of companies will accompany Zarif in his official visit, he said.
The trip takes place on the eve of the 25th independence anniversary of these countries and also 25 years of Iran’s political ties with them, Qasemi said.
