Tasnim – Iranian Minister of Science, Research and Technology Mohammad Farhadi said the country has exported more than $500 million worth of knowledge-based products over the past three years.
Speaking to reporters in Tehran on Monday on the sidelines of the 5th Laboratory Equipment and Chemicals Exhibition (Iran Lab 2017), Farhadi said over 10,000 products have been put on display in the expo.
He praised the exhibition and expressed the hope that the country’s universities would pay heed to the capacity in the field.
“Over the past three years, more than $500 million worth of knowledge-based products have been exported,” the science minister also noted.
The Iran Lab 2017 opened at the International Permanent Fairground following a ceremony in Tehran with high-ranking Iranian officials in attendance.
