IRNA – The 30th Tehran International Book Fair wrapped up on Sunday (May 13) in a ceremony attended by Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Reza Salehi-Amiri.
Some 2,282 publishers, including 2,643 domestic and 139 international publishing companies from 110 countries put their books on display in an area of 135,000 square meters during the 10-day book fair which was officially inaugurated on May 3 in the 'Shahr-e Aftab' (Sun City) Exhibition Complex.
Majlis (Parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani, Salehi-Amiri and a group of domestic and international publishers were present in the inaugural ceremony of the major event.
“Let’s read one more book” was the motto of this year’s book fair.
