IRNA – Dust problem in Iran originates from Iraq and water shortage in Turkey, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia and Pacific Affairs Ebrahim Rahimpour said.
Rahimpour made the remarks on the sidelines of the International Conference on Combating Sand and Dust Storms (SDS) which kicked off on Monday.
Solving water crisis is not an easy task and water-rich countries try to deal water so water will be more valuable in the future, he noted.
Iran, Iraq and Turkey are scheduled to hold a trilateral meeting on sand and dust storms, he said.
The Conference on Sand and Dust Storms started work today in Tehran and it will be underway until July 5.
