MNA � Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif landed in Istanbul on Tuesday leading a high-ranking political delegation.


Zarif is slated to attend an extraordinary meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on recent developments in Palestine.

�Given the recent developments in the occupied territories and increasing pressure on the Palestinian people, especially in Qods, an urgent need is felt for cooperation among Islamic countries,� Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Ghasemi said on Monday while clarifying the aim of the visit.
