MNA – Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei appointed former Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehghan as an adviser in the field of defense industries.
“Considering your valuable experience in defense area, especially the defense industry field, I appoint you as an adviser to the Commander-in-Chief in defense industry field and support for armed forces,” Ayatollah Khamenei said in his message on Sunday.
He also added that a continuous observation of scientific research and the development of defense technologies and the provision of proposals to achieve the promotion and development of capabilities is expected.
Brigadier General Hossein Dehghan was defense minister in President Rouhani's first term who gave his place to Brigadier General Amir Hatami, who previously served as the head of the Army's international relations office, as well as a deputy in the armed forces general staff.
