MNA – The commanders of Iran’s army and IRGC met early on Wednesday to voice their resolution for enhancing defense and deterrence capabilities.
Major-General Mohammad Ali Jafari the IRGC commander-in-chief visited the headquarters of Iran’s Army on Wednesday in Tehran, to greet the new position to Major-General Abdolrahim Mousavi, the newly appointed commander-in-chief of Iran's Army,
Voicing satisfaction with the current ambience among the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the two senior commanders underlined that “unity, solidarity, exemplary brotherhood, coordination and synergy to carry out the missions assigned under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran [Aytollah khamenei] infuriates the enemies of the people of Iran.”
They commonly held that such attributes would foil the plots intending to divide the armed forces and undermine the country’s defensive capabilities.
The commanders put emphasis on prediction, planning, and joint initiatives for the shared objective of deterrence and enhancement of defensive capabilities in consistence with the threats challenging the country.
