IRNA – Deputy Minister of Road and Urban Development Kheirollah Khademi urged India to accelerate implementation of construction of Chabahar-Zahedan railway.
All paths leading to port and railway should be connected to Afghanistan to develop eastern area and to finalize north-south corridor, Khademi who is in New Delhi told Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Friday.
He suggested producing 100,000 tons rail in Esfahan Steel Company.
Khademi also expressed Iran's readiness to purchase locomotive from India.
Khademi, heading a high-ranking delegation, took a trip to India to pursue agreements signed between two countries.
