Attributing Argentina blasts to Iran, Israel's conspiracy: Spokesman

14 Sep 2017 - 12:32

IRNA – To allegedly attribute the 1994 Argentina explosions to Iran is Zionists' conspiracy, Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi said on Wednesday.

Qasemi condemned the 1994 blasts in Buenos Aires while at the same time dismissing the Zionist Regime's illogical allegations over explosions in Argentina capital city.

He went on to say that the Mafia of power in Argentina is trying to exempt the real perpetrators from punishment.

'We draw the global attention to the Zionist Regime's increasing crimes in violating human rights in Palestine,' Qasemi noted.

Qasemi urged international community to take decisive action to stop killing of innocent people in Palestine, violation of Lebanese and Syrian sovereignty, aggression against Islamic and Arab countries and supporting governmental terrorism trends.

The AMIA bombing was an attack on the Asociación Mutual Israelita Argentina (AMIA; Argentine Israelite Mutual Association) building. It occurred in Buenos Aires on 18 July 1994, killing 85 people and injuring hundreds. It was Argentina's deadliest bombing ever.
