MNA – Asked about Iran’s reaction in the face of US withdrawal from nuclear deal, Foreign Minister Zarif told Fareed Zakaria of CNN that Iran has a number of options including “walking away from the deal and going back with great speed with its nuclear program.”
Zarif went on to stress that the nuclear program would remain peaceful, but would not address any of the limitations included in the text of the JCPOA.
Talking about Iran’s missile program, Zarif highlighted the country’s mission to develop its own defense, saying the missile program is for defensive purposes only.
