IRNA – Senior Iranian MP said that US President Donald Trump's decision to recognize al-Quds (Jerusalem) as the capital of Zionist regime contradicts the UN resolutions.
'This US measure is against the UN resolutions, but has resulted in convergence in the Muslim World,' Chairman of Iran's Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi said in a meeting with representative of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Hamas Movement in Tehran Khaled Al-Qadoumi.
The senior lawmaker criticized certain states' policy on normalization of relations with the Zionist regime and expressed Iran's strong support for the Palestine cause and liberation of occupied lands.
The Hamas envoy, for his part, said that Trump's measure endangers the international security and would make dangerous statues for the Palestinian people.
He called for the Palestinian groups' unity and their resistance against Zionist regime.
The Arab countries' weakness has resulted in the occupying regime's excessive demands, the official noted.
