IRNA – The process of transferring dead bodies of Iranian seamen will take one month, Iran consular general said.
“The DNA samples of all crew families should be sent to Shanghai to check with two dead bodies,” Alireza Irvash told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Tuesday.
“Based on Shanghai laws the transfer process will start after identifying all bodies,” he said.
The 30 Iranian and the two Bangladeshi sailors, who were crew members, had unfortunately been killed due to toxic gases and the huge size of the fire which embraced the tanker since the outset of the tragic incident, Head of Ports and Maritime Organization Mohammad Rastad told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Sunday morning.
