Iranian deputy minister in France to attend Euromoney Conference

Tasnim – Iranian Deputy Economy Minister Mohammad Khazaei started his visit to France to participate in the Euromoney Iran Conference 2018 due to be held on Thursday.


Heading a high-ranking delegation comprising experts from the Central Bank of Iran (CBI), also known as Bank Makarzi, and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance left Tehran for Paris to attend the Second Euromoney Conference focusing on Iran.

He also plans to hold talks with senior French officials about closer economic ties and banking cooperation between the Islamic Republic and the Western European country.

Second Euromoney Conference focusing on Iran will be held in Paris on February 8 with participation of hundreds of investors and representatives of banks and financial institutes from different European and Asian countries.

The conference organized jointly by Bank Makarzi and Euromoney Institute will provide a suitable chance for introducing investment opportunities, particularly in the oil, gas, tourism, transportation and insurance sectors in Iran besides studying the country’s accession to global economy.

CBI Governor Valiollah Seif, Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, Head of High Council on Insurance Abdel Nasser Hemmati, presidential economic advisor Masoud Nili and Head of board of directors of Saman Bank Vali Zarrabieh are to deliver speeches during the one-day event.
