IRNA – Ambassadors of Norway and the UK to Tehran Lars Nordrum and Nicholas Hopton respectively in separate messages extended condolences over the Sunday air crash in central Iran.
“Deeply saddened by the plane crash in Iran today. My condolences to all those affected by this tragedy,” Nordrum said in a Twitter message released on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Hopton in a Sunday Twitter message wrote, “Very sad to hear about the crash of the Aseman Airlines flight near Semirom. My condolences to the families of the victims and thoughts with all those affected.”
An Iranian passenger plane of Aseman Airlines hit Dena Mountains, 120 km from Semirom, Isfahan Province, early Sunday morning. The debris of the plane has not been found yet, but all 66 people onboard are feared dead in the tragic incident.
