IRNA – The attackers on Iran diplomatic mission have breached the international laws to introduce their diversionary ideology, the Iranian envoy to the UK said.
The attackers stormed into the compound of the Iranian Embassy on Friday night, hoisting their flag on the balcony of the building without facing any reaction on the part of the London police.
“The group attacking the Iranian Embassy in London represents an extremist Shia community. They have a sectarian interpretation of Shia and insist on insulting the grand Sunni leaders. The UK government, however, has an unwavering commitment to assure the inviolability of the Embassy,” Hamid Baeidinejad said earlier in a Twitter message.
In the wake of the recent attack on Iran's diplomatic mission in Britain by a London-based radical cult calling itself ‘Shirazi’, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman strongly protested to the UK government.
As a diversionary school of thought, Shirazi cult organized a show before the eyes of the public in London.
Despite the fact that they could hold a peaceful demonstration, they violated the international law, Baeidinejad said Saturday in a Telegram message.
Thousands of media in the world which had no idea of this ideology are now aware of the diversion in their thoughts, he added.
The wanted to legitimize their cheap act under the pretext of occupying Iran mission, he said.
