SHANA-- Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and National Security Adviser of Pakistan Nasir Khan Janjua met and discussed a number of issues, including Iran's gas export pipeline to Pakistan (IP).
Dr. Zarif met with the Pakistani official on the third day of his trip to Pakistan on Tuesday (March 13).
During the meeting Mr. Janjua, referring to the good relations between the two countries, said that what matters in the two countries' relations is the co-operation between Iran and Pakistan and the management of negotiated issues.
For his part, Zarif highlighted the readiness of Iran to further develop cooperation with Pakistan.
Also in the meeting such topics as increasing security cooperation and protection of the borders, holding meetings betweeinsecurity and consular commissions, exploiting the capacities of the ports of Gwadar and Chabahar with the aim of developing economic cooperation, exploring ways to increase banking cooperation, fighting against terrorism and exploiting the gas export pipeline were discussed.
