IRNA – Iran's ambassador to Mexico said that his country is fully prepared to launch medicine and vaccine production lines in the Latin American country.
'Iran is ready to enhance its cooperation with Mexico on healthcare and medicine manufacturing,' Said Mohammad-Taqi Hosseini in a meeting with President of Mexico’s parliamentary health commission, Salvador López Brito on Friday.
The Mexican senator hailed the offer, saying that his country welcomes cooperation with Iran in all fields.
He said that many international pharmaceutical firms are manufacturing medicine in Mexico, but some products they produce are of high costs.
So the healthcare system in Mexico seeks to offer such products with more reasonable competitive prices to provide all people with easy access to such drugs, he added.
The lawmaker also expressed hope that cooperation between the Latin American country and the Islamic Republic of Iran will include all other fields and in particular healthcare.
