IRNA – The man who ploughed his bus into a group of the Iranian police officers killing three of the security forces during unrest in a Tehran northern street about a month ago, has been sentenced to death.
Mohammad Reza Salas was delivered a death verdict by Judge Mohammad Reza Mohammadi Kashkooli at a Tehran criminal court on Monday.
According to the Iranian laws, the convict and his lawyer have 20 days to appeal the court ruling.
A member of Basij (volunteer forces) was also killed in the incident and another one was injured.
