agenda.ge- Iranian airline Iran Air has launched scheduled operations from Iran’s capital of Tehran to Georgia’s capital of Tbilisi, announces Georgia’s Civil Aviation Agency.
Starting from March 27, Iran Air will perform flights on Tehran-Tbilisi-Tehran route two times a week during the summer aviation season, until October 27, 2018.
Flights will be held on Tuesdays and Saturdays with the company’s Airbus A320 jet.
Eight companies have been performing flights between Georgia and Iran so far. These companies are Georgian Airways, Myway Airlines, ATA Airlines, Taban Airlines, Qeshm Airlines, Zagros Airlines, Kish Air and Iran Aseman Airlines.
Myway Airlines is a new Georgian airline company on the Georgian aviation market. Myway Airlines will launch its first charter flight between Tbilisi and Tehran in May 2018.
