SHANA - The head of the Institute for International Energy Studies (IIES) has expressed the institute's willingness to carry out joint studies with the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF).
"[Iran's] Minister of Petroleum [Bijan Zangeneh] has always recommended that we carry out joint studies with regional and global institutes like GECF in strategic and scientific issues," Ali Mobini Dehkordi said in a meeting with GECF Secretary General Yury Sentyurin.
He also said that IIES would be willing to hold specialized workshops to discuss sophisticated technology in upstream and downstream sectors.
Sentyurin said GECF would be constantly monitoring energy markets for in-depth analysis.
Given the emergence of new energy order (NEO), fossil energies are on the decline while there is growing inclination for renewable energies and natural gas.
