MNA – The United Arab Emirates Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash has expressed remarks on Monday indicating his anger at the telephone conversation between the President of Iran and the Emir of Qatar.
“I do not think that Qatari citizens are satisfied with their government's support for Houthis or close ties with Tehran, nor are they happy with normalization of ties with Israel or relations with Hezbollah. The secret policies of Qatari leaders are the cause of current isolation of Doha,” he claimed in a tweet published on Monday.
His remarks indicate Anwar Gargash and Qatari officials' anger at strengthening the ties between Tehran and Doha.
In a telephone conversation on Monday, President Hassan Rouhani told Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani that Iran will “stand beside” Doha in difficult days.
