MNA – Indonesian ambassador to Iran Octavino Alimudin said on Tuesday that Indonesia is eager to boost trade and economic relations with Iran.
He made the remarks on Tuesday in Arak, Markazi Province on the sideline of a meeting held with representatives of various companies of the region.
Describing Markazi province as the Iran’s industrial hub, the envoy said that the aim of his journey to this province is finding improved approaches to cement bilateral ties in industrial, economic and trade fields.
He went on to say that Markazi province enjoys high potentials in industry, technology and agriculture sectors.
Touching upon the fruitful talks that he had with Markazi’s provincial governor, Alimudin hoped that Indonesia and the province could transfer technologies and technical information to each other.
Increased economic ties with Iran’s central province can lead to economic and industrial strengthening of Indonesia, the envoy added.
