MNA– Iran’s nuclear chief Ali Akbar Salehi held talks with Omani Foreign Minister Yusuf bin Alawi Thu. on the sidelines of Oslo Forum in Norway.
The Thursday talks with Foreign Minister of Oman focused on the latest developments surrounding Iran’s nuclear deal and regional issues.
The head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran is in Norway to take part at Oslo Forum and hold bilateral talks with senior officials from the participating countries on expansion of bilateral ties and preservation of the JCPOA.
During his meeting with Secretary General of European External Action Service Helga Schmid in Oslo, Salehi stressed that Iran does not accept to remain in the JCPOA and suffer from sanctions at the same time.
In a meeting with Norway’s Foreign Minister Ine Eriksen Soereide, Salehi criticized some European companies for their hasty reaction to US withdrawal from JCPOA, saying that US policies are doomed to fail.
Schmid reassured him that 100 European companies will soon start business talks with the Iranian sides, while the Norwegian diplomat stressed her country’s full support for the implementation of the Iran nuclear deal.
