IRNA – Iran and International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) started cooperation by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU).
Head of Iran’s State Management Training Center Zahra Ahmadipour and President of IIAS Geert Bouckaert and the institute’s Director General Sofiane Sahraoui inked the deal on the sidelines of the institute 2018 meeting in Tunisia.
Signing the MoU will mark start of mutual cooperation and Iran’s official membership in the IIAS.
Sahraoui said that membership in the institute has advantages including using global network of organizations and centers operating in the field of administrative sciences, possibility of holding international conferences and forums, possibility of meeting with international experts and exchanging knowledge with them, undertaking joint researches with other members and publishing joint books in the field of administrative sciences.
Ahamdipour, for his part, said that her center is ready for cooperation in the fields such as holding joint forum in Iran, promoting level training courses for civil servants and joint scientific cooperation and publishing books on administrative sciences.
Iran’s delegation was in Tunisia to take part in the IIAS’s forum held from June 25-29.
