IRNA – Managing Director of Petro Gohar Farasahel Kish (PGFK) Mohammad-Taqi Sadatipour says up to 20 million liters of gasoline will be exported a day as of next year when Persian Gulf Star Refinery will be complete.
Speaking at signing ceremony of a contract to cede the first EPCF/D package, Sadatipour said Iran imported 60 million liters of gasoline last year despite enemies' efforts aimed at imposing sanctions on sale of gasoline to Iran to mount pressure on the Islamic Republic.
He said for the time being, the refinery construction has made the country self-sufficient in terms of import of gasoline.
