IRNA – A 4.5-magnitude earthquake which hit the southern Iranian city of Jiroft on Saturday, has left no casualties or damages, according to Jiroft Governor Ahmad Aminiravesh.
The tremor occurred at 14:06 local time (9:36 GMT).
The epicenter of the quake was registered at the depth of 25 km, according to the Seismological Center of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University.
With a population of 300,000, Jiroft is located in southern parts of Iranian province of Kerman.
