IRNA – Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi said on Tuesday that the news that Iranian drug addicts are dispatched to Herat city is a 'lie.'


Qasemi noted that Iranian representative offices in Afghanistan have not confirmed the news.

He added that it seems that dissemination of such news followed special goals.

He reiterated that the news has not been confirmed yet.

A number of foreign media have recently published news that Iranian drug addicts are sentto Afghanistan, especially the country's Herat city.
