Three Iranian Bloggers and Journalists Summoned

Parastoo Dokoohaki and Marzieh Rasouli,  Iranian bloggers and journalists  were arrested  in Tehran.

Also,  photojournalist Sahamoddin Bourghani was arrested.

On Sunday evening,  Parastoo Dokoohaki was arrested. She has been charged with “propaganda against the Islamic Republic.”

Dokoohaki, former journalist, has been working with “Shariati Foundation” in the field of translation and edition, and hasn’t had any political or media activities in recent years, one of her relatives said.

Dokoohaki has written in Yas-e No, Vaghaye Ettefaghiye, Eghbal, Iran Shahr (Hamshahri appendix), Sarmayeh, Etemad-e-Melli, Shargh, and publications including women’s monthly.

She was previously arrested in March 4th, 2007 during a rally in front of the Islamic Revolution Court and charged with “gathering and colluding to disturb national security”, “disturbing public order” and “rebellion against the police”, but she was acquitted of all charges one year later.

Following Dokoohaki’s arrest on Sunday, Marzieh Rasouli was also arrested on Tuesday.

According to reports, when arresting Marzieh Rasouli on Teusday night, those forces who arrested her, have presented an arrest warrant in which she was charged with “acting against national security.” They said that Mrs. Rasouli is being transferred to Evin prison.

Rasouli has had experience working with ISNA news agency, Shargh and Etemad newspapers and several film magazines.
