MNA – The Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Ghasemi has offered congratulations to Brazil on presidential elections, expressing hope that bilateral relations would further develop under the new leadership.

In a Monday statement, Bahram Ghasemi welcomed the presidential elections in Brazil, saying “we offer congratulations to the Brazilian government and people on the successful holding of the presidential elections in the Federative Republic of Brazil, and we wish success to Brazil’s president-elect."

Ghasemi added that Iran and Brazil have a 118-year history of bilateral relations, which have constantly been growing and consolidated.
