IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi on Friday denounced terror attack in Melbourne which killed one and injured several others.
“Committing such heinous and anti-human acts indicates that Daesh is a cancerous tumor with a non-human thought before being a terrorist group,” he said.
Thanks to certain countries' support for Daesh including intellectual, political, financial and military, it has taken root in most points of the country and attracted individuals from around the world to its non-human and decadent thought.
“The only way to get rid of such evil and satanic thought is to really cut off supports for all the terrorist groups and drying up their roots,” Qasemi said.
A Somali citizen set fire to an automobile in a crowded area in Melbourne and stabbed several people, injuring them.
One of the injured succumbed to injuries at hospital and others are currently under treatment.
